Gods are also superior to carotenoids (zeaxanthin, lutein, lycopene, β-carotene and cryptoxanthin). More than 70% of the total carotenoid content in the gods is zeaxanthin. Gods can contain up to 80mg / 100g of zeaxanthin, making it one of the richest sources of this carotenoid. Godzhi also contains vitamin C (about 30-140mg / 100g), vitamin B 2 (1.3mg / 100g), calcium (112mg / 100g), potassium (1.1g / 100g), iron (9mg / 100g) 100 g) and selenium (50 μg / 100 g), all data related to dried fruits. Due to the content of carotenoids, specific polysaccharides, raisins-like appetite, and low glycemic index, goji is more healthy than other common sugary dried fruits. Unlike other fruits, the goji are not sour, and therefore they are used in soups in their country of origin. Try to add vegetable soup or bouillon next to a handful of high-quality goji [gods].
